Mercato. Real Madrid reportedly have a verbal agreement with Alphonso Davies

Apart from Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid is also working to lure Alphonso Davies into their net. According to The Athletic, the Canadian fullback has signed a verbal agreement to join Merengues this summer.

Real Madrid's XXL transfer window is taking more and more shape. Apart from Kylian Mbappé who will be close to signing up with the Merengue, the Spanish club is moving on another hot issue: Alphonso Davies. The Canadian full-back, out of contract in 2025, would be Real Madrid's preferred track to strengthen their left lane.
There are currently no talks between Madrid and Bayern.

According to The Athletic, his arrival will be on track as the Bayern Munich player will have signed his verbal agreement for a transfer this summer. The 23-year-old will refuse to extend his contract with Bayern at the moment to facilitate his departure to Real. He would not be the first player to switch from a German club to a Spanish team. Toni Kroos and David Alba recently took the same trip.

If, by now, Madrid and Bayern have not started negotiations for a transfer, this situation could develop quickly. It remains to be seen how much Real Madrid will be willing to pay this summer for a player who has just one year left on his contract. Of Marengo, Davies could come in to replace Ferland Mendy, also out of contract in 2025.
