Nashville Predators top Los Angeles Kings for third straight win
Missing a U2 concert in their rearview mirror, the Nashville Predators tried to stay perfect on their five-game road trip against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night.
The result was a 4-1 victory for Nashville, its third in a row.

Former Predators forward Kevin Fiala responded with a 5-on-3 goal with just over a minute left in the first that tied the score at 1-1. It was his 15th goal of the season.
Mark Jankowski put the Predators ahead 2-1 with 5:14 left in the second. It was his second goal of the season. Luke Evangelista had an assist on the play.
With three minutes remaining, an empty net goal by Seasons gave the visitors a two-goal lead. It was his 15th goal of the season, matching his career high. Jeremy Lauzon's empty-net goal in the final minute gave Nashville a three-goal lead.
The Predators pulled within four points of the Kings for the top spot in the Western Conference wild-card race. They are tied for points (62) with the St. Louis Blues, who went 4-0 on Thursday for the second wild-card spot but trail by % points.
The Kings (28-17-10) had won three in a row.
The Predators (30-25-2) were coming off a 5-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday. They beat the St. Louis Blues on Saturday.
Luke Evangelista scored his second goal in two games Tuesday after Cody Glass scored his first since Dec. 19 and his second of the season. The Predators' worst-dressed player, Tommy Novak, has four goals in his last five games.
